Identify this Spanish language (Cuban) movie please

I saw the latter half of this on cable about 6 years ago or so and have always wanted to see it in its entirety. I believe it was set in Cuba but I’m not positive. The main character is a very pompous officious government official travelling across the country to attend a funeral. Sound familiar?

PS- It is definitely not I AM CUBA (though that has a funeral scene), but that’s what comes up when I google it. This was more of a narrative story movie.

Is it Guantanamera?

Yes! Thanks. (I was thinking Guantanamo sounded right but wouldn’t make sense as it did not take place there.)

I think the movie gets its title from the song:
*
Yo soy un hombre sincero
De donde crece la palma
.
.
.
Guantanamera, guajira Guantanamera*.

*Guantanmera *would mean “person (female) from Guantanamo”, btw.

Guantanamera, in Cuba, is also used to describe someone passing away as in: “Cantó la guantanamera”, or he sang the guantanamera, because the song was used to close a once popular tv show in Cuba.

The film is about a woman who dies in Guantanamo and the vicisitudes of taking her body back to the capital, funny stuff. It was banned in Cuba of course.
