Now I ask. Why?
I’ve got to admit, the first time I heard the song (with a different lo-fi video that isn’t the power tools one) I thought it was a pretty cool song that had no hope of being a hit. Most electronica that sells well has some acoustic, melodic element to it, whereas this is all bleeps and blurts with a completely monotone vocal (not that that’s a bad thing).
Then I saw the power tools video. Now I’m seeing it everywhere.
Makes sense.

Benny Benassi is an Italian DJ who made the music; The Biz are the people doing the vocals.
