IE 9 difficulty

Running IE 9 on Windows 7.
My user has Yahoo as a home page. Upon following a link, the back button takes him to an older date page of Yahoo. I have seen this happen only with Yahoo, although he says it has happened on other sites.
I have deleted history, cookies and temporary files, restarted IE.

Does anyone have any ideas?

IE9 has the “nuclear option”: Reset Everything. Since you’ve already deleted history, cookies, and temporary files about the only other thing this will do is delete stored passwords and deactivate all of the plugins.

Might be worth a try.
