Whenever I’m at the SDMB main page and hit the Back button then hit the Foward button, the main page reverts to ~9:45PM on Saturday, May 15[sup]th[/sup]. Anyone else seeing this?
Correction: I’m apparently getting this effect by going to the main page through a Favorite link.
If you’re on a large network, there may be a caching proxy between you and the internet. In that case you’re pretty much SOL short of refreshing.
In any case, Try clearing your browser’s cache (Tools->Internet Options->Delete Files… (under “Temporary Internet Files” heading; middle of the page)).
Shouldn’t matter whether or not you choose to delete all offline content (a check box that will appear in the ensuing popup), but I’d leave it unchecked, at least at first. You might conceivably lose some cookies if you check it, possibly forcing you to log in to various sites (e.g., The Straight Dope)
This advice should almost certainly work – unless, again, you are behind a caching proxy
