Is there a maximum number of favorites that can be saved in the Favorites list? Is there anyway to exceed that limit?
Yes and Yes.
There is a limit to the amount of text or links you can have on a computer. The hard drive’s size or the ram may be the limiting factor.
If you have that many favorites, you could ‘free’ up some space by creating an HTML page of links on a server and link to that page. The server would not be on the computer from which you are running IE5 and need more links.
Depends on the OS, also. What version of Windows are you running?
Disregard my post above, I was thinking of something else.
I am running Win98. I have between 200 and 250 favorites. I was just wondering how long the list can be before it says no more?
