IEXPLORE.EXE Application error

This window comes up whenever I am closing down my computer.

"The instruction at “0x04089389” referenced memory at “0x04213af8”. The memory could not be “read”.

After I “click” it off, another window pops up that says:

Runtime error 0x0eedfade 0x7c812a5b

My task manager tells me iIEXPLORE.EXE s taking up tons of memory

Can anyone please tell me how to get rid of this problem!

Go to Start|Run and type sfc /scannow. It may prompt you to put in your Windows CD.

This will scan all the protected Windows files (including Internet Explorer) and replace any which are corrupted. It won’t fix all problems but is a good first step.
