If H.P. Lovecraft had a Twitter account

I nearly wet my pants laughing at some of these entries - enjoy!

Finally, a justification for the existence of Twitter!

… I

brain broken!

Awesome, but I fear I’m now being sucked in a twitter vortex…

(the rustling of hushed, unintelligible voices echoing through the ether, and you can’t tell if the others hear them, too, and just pretend not to, like you)

I guess I can follow one more account…

I particularly liked the LIVE SINGLES IN YOUR AREA postings. Eldritchly, rugously good.

After reading a few of these messages, previously innocuous lines in other texts seem to take on subtle, sinister connotations you can’t quite put your finger on

Case in point: I’m reading a paper on the interpretation of quantum mechanics (which is as eldritch as physics gets), where I just now stumbled over the sentence: “One of our original and most vigorous convictions concerning the world is that there are things out there…” (italics in the original).

Oh indeed, there are things out there…

Love it…

Feels a little more like “John Dies at the End” to me. Creepy in a great way.
