There’s a fair few smaller Dope Spin-offs out there - NADS obviously being the one i frequent (as its community is largely British/Irish dopers and ex-dopers).
I second the Something Awful forums. They remind me a lot of these boards. I know there are Dopers here who also post there, I’ve seen identical threads on both boards before, posted by someone with the sane username. I’m razz over there, I just signed up less than a month ago. I don’t think you get the kind of downright factual information from them right of the bat, but it’s probably more consistantly funny.
…If you can handle all the rules. Not that it’s a bad thing, but you can get banned for doing something as simple as saying “goons” in a thread title. Like we are Dopers, they are Goons. And the guy who runs the boards thinks its redundant to use the word Goons in a thread title since, techinically, everyone who is reaading the thread is a goon and yadda yadda yadda…boom you’re banned and you don’t even know why.
