Screw that. I want Sir Ian’s number.
Yep. Bug meteors. I’m not even a big Heinlein fan and i’m still mad years later.
… a cross between orcs and **goblin-**men?!? What have you been smoking, Pete?
Not only that, but Bug meteors that can cross the entire galaxy in less than a year, and land directly on target. (If the Bugs have that kind of technology, why wasn’t humanity wiped out a long time ago?)
There’s also a section on this in the Extended Fellowship DVD appendices, showing how nearly every scene has been tinted via digital grading, from the greens of the Shire (to give it a fairy-tale look) to Galadriel’s glowing complexion.
SC_Wolf. My guess is that is what she intends to do should she get the Viggo´s number.
:d&r:

Oh dear. I hope she knows Sir Ian doesn’t visit that side of the buffet.
But Viggo does!
To get back to the OP’s question–
I’d ask Peter Jackson this: Now that LotR is a huge hit and you are a kazillionaire, is there any chance you will make LotR into the 20-30 hour extravaganza it really should be and put back in the bits–Bombadil! Barrow Wights! The Grey Company! Scouring of the Shire!!!–that were left out “for pacing reasons”???
If I could address a question to Peter Jackson:
Did you read The Books or the Cliff Notes?
“If you could have dinner with one historical figure, living or dead, who would it be?”
If he says “Einstein or Jesus” I’m going to be mighty suspicious…
I gotta question for Pete:
Who the hell was putting on the Ring when the hobbits were hiding from the Ringwraith under the tree roots in “Fellowship”? I know it was supposed to be Frodo, but those weren’t his hands in the closeup. He’s got rather stocky hands with fingernails bitten down to the first joint. The hands in that shot were bony with nails past the ends of the fingers. At first, I thought it was an effect the Ring was having on him (transmuting him and all), but it never happened again.
So what gives? Not that it matters, really…
I wish that, as a Star Wars fan, I only had these little piddly-shit complaints about my movies…
well, you could start here…
