Anyway, I was going to say that of all the possible outcomes of this type of situation, the two that I seem to recall seeing the most are:
Husband agrees to have kids because his wife wants them, finds out he adores being a father and they all live happily ever after
and
Husband agrees to have kids because his wife wants them, resents them, resents sharing the attention, blames her for making him have children when she knew from the start he never wanted them, no one lives happily ever after.
It’s a huge risk to take and not one I’d be thinking seriously about after a single month of feeling clucky. I’d really want to make sure we were on the same page.
And sure, he looks like he’d be a good dad. What does that mean? I always thought Bing Crosby looked like he’d be a good dad but his son Gary Crosby wrote a book about what a lousy father he made.
I’ve said several times in this thread that nothing will be happening here for, at minimum 6 months, and more likely well over a year. The picture was posted tongue-in-cheek, just because I thought it was funny (and aren’t my dogs cute?;)). I actually know this man quite well, and am not basing my assessment of his likely parenting skills on a photograph. And, having just googled Bing Crosby, I think he looks creepy as hell :p.
