I don’t think Chelsea Clinton is an especially attractive candidate, but it’s hard to see why she couldn’t be elected to any number of offices, if she chose to run.

Why is anyone even discussing Chelsea’s chances?
Because they’re hoping to distract us from Trump’s next Bad Moment…
We already know what he’d be doing now: holding rallies and tweeting that the election was rigged, that Hillary is a criminal who should be impeached and imprisoned, that the electoral college is unfair and un-American and should be abolished, that he has definitive proof that Hillary and millions of illegal alien voters stole the election and is going to reveal it very very soon…
I would vote for her over Carolyn Kennedy, who seems to be pretty much an empty suit.
If she runs she would most likely run for a perfectly safe seat that she would be all but guaranteed to win. Not sure where this idea that she has any interest in politics is coming from anyways.
There’s nothing wrong with dynastic candidates in theory. In practice, their name tends to equate to a qualification that elevates them above candidates without dynastic connections. But family shouldn’t be held against anyone either. Chelsea, should she decide to run for something, should be treated like any other candidate. Where Democrats would be harmed is if they vaulted her above more qualified candidates simply because of her name.
She got it from her mother. 
Hillary Clinton’s ceiling was probably the Senate if she wasn’t a Clinton. The current generation of Kennedys would have trouble winning state seats without their names.
Without his name, George W Bush is Rick Perry at BEST, more likely just a former alcoholic working in the auto shop trying to get his feet back on the ground.

The Ministry of Truth has not updated the Two Minutes Hate to the current reality that the Clintons are once again allies of Big Brother as they always have been. Rest assured, comrade, that our telescreens will soon reassure us that we have always been at war with Eastasia, again.
Since there is no indication that she intends on running for anything, I’m guessing this is the Republicans’ trial run for the next possible boogyman.
I always thought Caroline was very pretty.
She didn’t have the right to an automatic seat, but she would adorn it.
Again, Chelsea doesn’t strike me as a natural politician, but if she DID want to run for Congress, I’d have to guess she’d have a pretty decent chance at winning.
She might win, she might not, but where is the potential “disaster” even if she did lose?
I’d say she’s at least as qualified for Congress as Lynn Cheney. I sincerely doubt she has White House aspirations, nor should she.
Trump would be proven correct again that Hillary’s support came in large part from illegals voting for her. Illegals won’t come out to vote for Chelsea.
He can’t be proven correct again as he was never proven correct a first time. There is no evidence whatsoever that any undocumented residents voted for Hillary.
