IF someone were to open a sperm bank where the "nurses" PARTICIPATED....

At least here in Philadelphia, the staff of swing clubs aren’t charged with prostitution because they’re not engaging in sex with the customers. The staff’s activities are the same as a regular restaurant. People join swing clubs, not to have sex with the staff, but with other members. A few months ago, a club in a neighboring county was raided. The police explained that they could not charge the owner with prostitution for this reason. However he didn’t have whatever permit or license is required for on site nudity. He was charged with a licensing violation.

Seems that they would be leaving them selfs open to gender based discrimination from male nurses. That, and our current leagal system would assure that this would never see the light of day.

Hold up. There’s prostitution on the internet?

what has happened is that many ESCORT services have moved onto the internet. Also, because you can get web space much cheaper than YELLOW BOOK space in larger cities (and some Yellow Pages have banned Escort services anyway from advertising) many smaller “independent contractors” have gotten into the business (thereby eliminating the “agency fee”). In the MSNBC program cops were pretending to be Johns in order to make some busts. However, even the cops admitted that busing online escort agency, prostitutes was a very low priority.

I wonder how long it take someone like Tony Soprano (or more likely Paulie Wallnuts) to show up when someone opens one of these places on their own. I know that in Indianapolis there used to be strong rumors (and occasional news tibits) hinting that the POLICE were sometimes involved in “manageing” certain drug and prostitution rackets. However, I haven’t heard much about that since GoldSmith left office.

As for the “swinger clubs” my wife and I visited one when we were first dating. Frankly, it reminded me of a nice hotel with a lobby and full bar. Our only “action” was between each other (and even that was limited since she was during her “time of the month”). However, I was fascinated to recognize several noted attorneys and governmental figures at the club. What was even MORE interesting was that the club was located in an old, nondescript building RIGHT down town. I think it was finally raided YEARS later and charged with various permit violations. However, the police HAD to know about this place for years given its prime location. Makes you wonder what guides those sort of “enforcement” decisions. By the way that was a GREAT joke. I haven’t laughed that hard since Chris Rock was on Oprah the other day talking about how Bill Gates would jump out a window if he woke up as POOR as Oprah Windfrey (he was talking about the difference between blacks being rich and whites being WEALTHY).
