You must be getting REALLY old. While the song is a forgettable one-hit wonder, Rachel Hunter has been a supermodel since the 80s. It’s kind of like not knowing who Elle Macphereson or Kathy Ireland is.
All of you younguns who are concerned that you find that even younger lady attractive, cripes, you’re not that much older than her and it’s only been recently in this country that your reaction would be considered abnormal. It’s still okay to cast furtive looks as long as you don’t touch or get caught looking, even when she walks over in her bikini and says, “Hi, Mr Zone! Remember me?” :eek: Those who find BOTH her and her “mother” hot, welcome to adulthood, where the full panoply of feminine pulchritude is there for your visual enjoyment. And those who find NEITHER of them hot have totally flunked the heterosexuality test.

If Fountains of Wayne are a one hit wonder, it’s no fault of their own. Stacy’s Mom is just the last in a long line of catchy, wonderful pop songs that they’ve written. They can’t help it if radio doesn’t pick up on it until they put Rachel Hunter in a video.
you know, Stacy’s mom could have boned some uglified monstrosity and her child shall turn into Gollum upon reaching 17. Plus Stacy always wanted a sister, so i’m just helping her out here…
While I understand why the boy is interested in the mom, he’d be foolish to ignore Stacy…she’s a hottie.
