I’m referring to Planescape: Torment and Fallout 2, respectively.
“If I’s the Chosen One, how come I’s out here freezin’ mah ass off, while you’s all nice and toasty in that warm theater?!”
– Eddie Murphy, The Chosen One
(Or The Golden Child. Whichever. It’s not like anyone actually remembers that movie.)

Umm anyways, I say Nameless One casting an Axe of Torment in the fourth round, after the Chosen one ran out of energy cells for his Turboplasmarifle.
Considering that a more or less normal Joe out of a vault defeated the Chosen one, I’d have to go with the Nameless One.
Well it depends on when they meet. If it’s at the beginning of their quests I’d go for the Nameless One. If it’s at the end than The Chosen One might have a flamethrower or some other instant body destroying weapon, but I’d still bet on TNO.
Heh.
TNO: Look, can’t we-
TCO: BLAM!
TNO: …talk about-
TCO: BLAM!
TNO:…this?
Until the Chosen runs out of ammo.
And what normal Vault Joe beat the Chosen?
In the manual they note that the nameless one can be killed by being burned alive or dissolved in acid (stomach or otherwise). Hence, Chosen one in the ballroom with a plasma rifle.
Is it a sign that you spend far too much of your time in front of a PC monitor, when you understand this thread title, and laugh out loud, before you open the thread?
[sub]I can just see it: Fallout 3 finally gets made, and one of the luck based random encounters is an endlessly regenerating Nameless One, defeatable only with an improved flamethrower.[/sub]

Great idea! Someone spam Black Isle with it.
