It is, you never say anything that is factually based and falsifiable. You deal in broad, sweeping declarations that can neither be proven nor disproven. Liberals are destroying America, and the proof is that America is becoming more liberal. You squander your dignity spreading bullshit, and then demand we respect your dignity. You don’t get better, you don’t get worse, you are reliable, we know exactly what we will get before we even read a word. You are Circus Peanuts, the candy that grumpy old men who don’t really like children give out on Halloween.
You really, really don’t like us, and, speaking for us, we are grateful.
RealClearPolitics has an impressive list of polls currently being conducted. Clinton leads in virtually all of them, but there is no question that the lead has tightened, and, in some cases, reversed.
I could keep going, but this took really a few seconds for each of these. I can only conclude that you found what you wanted to find. The tightening race has been a BIG story for the last few weeks and will continue to be so.
I was called a liar for saying I didn’t watch or listen to right wing radio and television. No sweeping declaration there.
Cite? I don’t even think in such terms, and even if I did, dignity is in such short supply around here on anyone’s part that I’d hardly expect it in the first place, much less demand it.
Sorry, but I can’t speak to what grumpy old men who don’t like children do. This board makes me grumpy admittedly, but away from it I’m just peachy and have oodles of friends and fun. And kids are great, I love 'em. They’re my favorite people in fact.
You’re really giving Lobohan a run for his money in the wrongful assumption sweepstakes. Surely you’re familiar with the line about how conservatives think liberals have bad ideas but liberals think conservatives are bad people? You assume I don’t like you and others like you because that’s how you think about your political opponents. I, on the other hand, don’t like a lot of the things you favor and/or are responsible for, but I don’t dislike you personally, nor do I dislike very many other people on this board. I could count the number of posters I truly don’t like on one hand (and most of them aren’t to be found in this thread. ;))
And now I’m back out. Just felt compelled to clear up a few of these erroneous assertions…you know, just for the sake of ignorance-fighting and all.
Of course the media will admit it, the media is looking to see the dozen Watergates that Trump will get them. They need the advertisement money from all those eyeballs that they will get from that unrest to sent their kids to college. Ivy league even.
As I pointed before, you admitted before that that you get the same percolated news from Rush and others via social media or you read them on the Internet, even going to his website on several occasions.
No wonder you keep still misleadingly insisting just about not listening or watching them on TV while omitting all other ways to get their trash. Because it allows you to claim an independence of thought that in reality is not there.
I go to his website occasionally to see what people are talking about. I don’t follow it on a regular basis nor for guidance on issues. I’ve been to Limbaugh’s site maybe 15 times in the last five or six years. Believe it or not most of the opinions and views I have are the same I’ve had for decades, long before the advent of cable television and before media bias created a market for right-wing radio and television news programs. I was railing about the press in the early 70s and about the harmful effects of liberalism as far back as the late 60s. You guys might want to kid yourselves that people only disagree with you or hold the opinions they do because they’ve been brainwashed by Machiavellian right-wing puppet masters, but all this stuff is plain as the nose on your face to those of us who haven’t drunk the Kool-Aid.
Meh, the order of the factors does not change the product. Even in the past Rush and others fed you support for items that the right believes are the basis of their efforts, but in the end the premises they use are still wrong. You seem to forget that one very important point that tell us what is going on is when the ones that are close to the liberals mention the “echo chamber” that the right is using nowadays. It does explain how radically incompetent guys like Trump can get close to winning the presidency.
Sorry, but I was forced once to listen to Rush for years as my older brother decided to check him on long drives to work in the 80’s. Suffice to say is that I was aware of several lies, mistakes and representations made just in one show of his.
For example in 2004 he and many others wanted to crow about countries like El Salvador electing right wing governments after the civil war. Trying to say that therefore the support of the military dictators in the 80’s and 90’s was OK. It was a very gross misleading point because millions already had left the country (or had been killed by the death squads) that could had voted for a leftist government. And indeed soon after as many intellectuals came back and pressure from the people overseas grew so much that the next elections were won by the former guerrillas. Of course that would mean that what the USA did was to indeed support military thugs that prevented the people from forming the government they wanted during the 70’s and the 80’s.
I have seen already indeed the real harm caused by the American conservatism. And now, even if you are not going to vote for Trump, the reality is that many of the ones that you rely for information would mind to go back to “those great days”.
So I also have enough memory to report also that you are still wrong. The brainwash has happened before and reinforced by people like Rush and their ilk.
I subscribe to the New York Times, and they’ve been talking about the increasingly close polls for much of the week.
Maybe Starving Artist should be asking why his favored fake news organizations are so far behind the real journalists when it comes to reporting the news.
LOL.
This is perfect. It’s a model of the Starving Artist dishonesty machine. When called out for your bullshit, fall back on the indisputable personal testimony. “Hey,” says Starving Artist “maybe there is all this evidence out there that demonstrates what a moron i am, and that could be easily located by your average blind second-grader, but i haven’t seen any of it.”
Were they talking about how Trump had overtaken Clinton, in both the popular vote and electoral college? If so there’s been scant evidence of it around here.
Fake? You clearly don’t know the first thing about either site. Fox’s online news site is straitforward news, albeit with a critical eye toward the left, and Drudge is merely a site that links to various articles. It’s not a news site per se, fake or otherwise.
Ahem, you seem to have missed the point rather badly here vis-a-vis my so-called dishonesty. (And don’t forget, you’re the airheaded asspipe who once amusingly made the claim to Bricker that I was dishonest but not aware of it. ) The dishonesty I was accused of in this thread was in regard to whether or not I listen to right-wing radio and tv and had nothing to do with the reportage of polls.
