Anything that involves the band The Shaggs, I would base a video game around them.
Easy peasy, and satisfying.
“My Pal Foot Foot” should really be included when they come out with Rock Band 5.
Well, it would be a video game, so you could still continue after you died. But if you completed the mission seeing all of the ways a person could die along the way (e.g. drown in a river, freeze to death, starve to death, get caught by slave catchers, etc.), a person would have a good appreciation of the possible outcomes.
And, it being a game, you could always be penalized when you continued on after “dying”. You lose your possessions, for example.
I would love the ability to alter the challenge of a game and keep making it harder. There have a been a few games over the years that I wanted to keep playing, but they have just become to easy for me. As far as the perfect games goes. I would love to be able to some how connect the game with my subconscious mind some how and basically have the game playing out in my mind just like a dream would.
Reminds me of Battlefield 1 where you tend to die quickly and violently, then take the role of another character. It also was historical (took place during World War I) and it had little stories and narration for all the characters. If you took that gameplay and changed it to the Underground Railroad and made it a stealth/travel/survival game rather than a FPS, it might actually work.
Back after some time.
Well, yeah, real life without consequences sounds like a pretty cool game I guess. I think were a bit far away from that I like the idea. I would expand that by placing it near future and giving you some powers you normally don’t have in real life.
I like what I’m seeing with WatchDogs Legion. If they can pull it off that’s a step in the right direction. The main thing they have to avoid is being an inferior GTA.
Really though? Bioshock Infinite is my favorite video game of all time. I’d like a sequel to Bioshock Infinite that didn’t shit all over it, had a fantastic story, and really tight improved combat. A story where actions have consequences. Make it multiplayer co-op with Elizabeth as a playable character. You could switch between Booker and Elizabeth in single player. Do that and I’m a happy man. And that could be done, today, though without Ken Levine to help I wouldn’t be too optiministic.
