If you could have any vehicle from a movie, which would it be?

If you could have any vehicle from a movie/tv show, which would it be?

I think I wouldn’t mind racing around on one of the speeder bikes from Return of the Jedi, or flying around in an X Wing or Tie Fighter. I’d hate to fly a B Wing Fighter though.

But, then again, being in control of The Enterprise or an Imperial Star Destroyer would be great too.

Of course I could see myself having a lot of fun in 007’s car as well.

I’d love to hear what others would want to use before making my final selection.

Thanks!

A TARDIS. Go anywhere in space and time, plus it’s bigger on the inside than the outside; I can just move in.

I like the idea of KITT from the Knight Rider series. A car that can drive itself and one that I can have witty conversations with.

Do boats count? I’d take the Black Pearl.

Perhaps the B-36 Jimmy Stewart flew in (I think)“Strategic Air Command” or, even better, one of the Lancasters from “The Dambusters”. Just to crank up those four Merlins once in a while… aahh, that sound.

Has to be the Heart of Gold from HHGTTG.

Seconded … as long as detailed instruction manuals are thrown in. In English.

The black Barracuda from Phantasm.

That damn car had an attitude though. Of course, considereing that William Daniels did the voice I’m not surprised.

But yes, KITT would probably be my choice as well.

Megamind’s invisible car.

The car from The Last Starfighter. It could be driven on the road, convert to a fly car, and best of all become a space car and travel faster than light.

I’d have to go with the TARDIS.

Will Smith’s Porsche 911 Turbo (964 gen) from Bad Boys.

A Borg cube.

A Death Star, with a heavy duty cover over the exhaust port.

Klingon Bird of Prey, assuming I had an autopilot function that could perfect Spock’s time travel calculations. I’d have the last of the V-8 Interceptors on board for road travel.

A Super Star Destroyer. It’ll have to be manned. And I imagine that my appearance above Earth would be a fairly massive news story. Then I’d meet other world leaders and join the UN as a new nation. I’d invite applicants to immigrate and then we’d explore the Solar System! After that we’d vote on what to do next. People can elect a leader if they want but I’d still be in charge.

Well, yeah. But assuming we’re restricted to real vehicles, I’d take the convertible Shelby from the remake of The Thomas Crown Affair. It was originally built for Arnie to use in Last Action Hero but couldn’t be used for some of the stunts.

Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown’s modified 1981 DeLorean DMC-12v2 (now with Mr. Fusion!)

The Millenium Falcon. She’s the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.
