The sport in which I compete, track and field, is a bit more like golf or tennis in that the pros are essentially independent contractors. But if I were a member of an amateur club overseas, I think I’d go with the Clonliffe Harriers in Dublin, Ireland. Their home grounds, Morton Stadium, includes a pub that looks out on the track.
I’ll play lock for the All-blacks. I’m probably too big at 6’6" and 280 lbs but if I was going international that would be the most fun.
