If you didn't know your own age how old would you think you are?

Let’s say you woke up with a strange type of amnesia where you had all of your other memories and knowledge but you don’t know your own age. Based on how you look, feel and act, how old would you guess that you are?

Different answers for look, feel, and act… But I’d say they average to around 34-36. I’m 42.

I am pushing 70 but I am still out and about hanging with friends and doing things much younger people do. I feel about 50 and would guess my age as late 50’s.

  1. I’ve always been 42.

I turned 56 this past summer. I’ve been told I look young for my age and I don’t have any aches and pains so I can do everything I’ve always done. I’m in very good health. So I would say 45.

Well, if I had all my other memories, I’d remember I have kids and grandkids, so I must be middle aged.

If you discount that, based on how I act I’d be in my twenties. Then I’d stand up creakily and look in the mirror and go “Hmm, nope. Middle aged.”

I’m 51.

I would think that was all kind of fucked up. And I’d assume I suffered some type of senility. Paired with my various aches and pains, I’d assume I must be in my early two hundreds, maybe 215.

70-75 instead of my actual 60 but ---------- my only sibling is 11 years older than me and I grew up partly in his generation as well as my own. I have a lot of memories and awareness of things before my time (some music for example) and was more aware of other things (Vietnam) than a lot of people my age. It doesn’t help either that a lot of my friends had been friends of his (hand-me-downs got carried away in our case  ) and a lot of my “outside” friends have been older as well. I’d probably look in the mirror and think I looked pretty good for a fart of my advanced age.

25-26. I’m 38.

Half my age.

I was only 42 for three years. Those were the days.

16 in a 100 year old body.

I’m not saying how old I actually am unless I’m shown the money first.

If I have my other memories it won’t be very hard to extrapolate my age pretty accurately from knowing how long I spent at school and the two major jobs I’ve been in since then. I might be off by two or three years, but I’d be fairly close.

If we presume I don’t put things like that together, mentally I feel about 25, and physically, well, I’ve never been very good at estimating ages by sight, and honestly I see no significant physical difference between myself now and myself at 25 - or anytime after I got this fat, really. I would wonder why the heck I have this back pain nowadays, but since that can all be traced to slipping on the ice in a parking lot a year ago, if I remember that much it wouldn’t noticeably bump up my guessed age.

I’m actually 41.

I have a slight baby face and I feel pretty good physically since losing weight so although I am in my mid 40s I would probably guess mid 30s or late 30s.

39 and holding!

I look younger but feel older than I am.

Ditto this on both counts.

My 69th birthday is in a couple of weeks. I’m always told that I look much younger. But today I got my height measured at the doctor, and I’ve shrunk two inches! I’ve been 5’6" for forever; today I was 5’4"! EEK! I don’t mind telling people my age, but I’m going to start lying about my height.

Am 61, look 50, act 13.

(I have very oily skin – ew! – which has kept me somewhat young-looking. Natural moisturizer!)

I’ll always be 16.
