If you get a domain name, will you get one of the new ones? Or .com or .net?

I kind of like the idea of more extensions (called High-level names) like .biz or .pro, but I have to wonder if they will confuse people.

I was conservative with my 800 number and avoided the 888 they tried to push on me. I was glad, because even now lots of people don’t realize that 888 is a toll-free area code.

So would .pro sound professional, or just make people less likely to remember the url?

What are YOU planning to do when you get a site?

For the website I’ve been working on, we are looking for a .com name. I can remember .com and .org, but any others I kinda just forget.
