I’m pretty sure that isn’t the purpose of spoilers.
No, I wouldn’t. And, while I can see you are very passionate about this topic (and I seem to remember you posting about it here previously), there’s nothing you can change, and it seems to me like you may be a bit obsessed on the topic. You tweet about it at least 15x a day? You need a new hobby.
Those 15x a day helps me boost my tweet count. In the past 21 months, I have tweeted over 52,000 times.
So this is much less about what you believe, and much more about being popular?
It is both! I even regularly tweet or link to a tweet that says “-Fox selling back those Marvel rights to Disney? Sure. However, at least give Fox Lucasfilm. Then, at least Fox would have had at least 1 major media franchise (Star Wars) to mooch off of. Don’t end a storied movie empire like that! It’s sad!”
That is the first word that comes to my mind too.
What are the first words that come to your mind! It is not much of a stretch to say that Disney would not exist without Gertie the Dinosaur, the non-vaudeville version of which was the first real hit Fox movie. So, Disney in a sense was buying out the company that helped inspired Disney.
Neither time machines nor genies exist in real life, so what would you like to see happen?
I don’t know! Many threads in many forums have what-if scenarios and this is no different.
Would the entertainment world be better off if Disney didn’t own Marvel and Lucasfilm (and ESPN, ABC, etc., etc.)? Maybe so.
Tweeting about it 15+ times a day, and writing ranty posts like these, change none of that. This comes across as less of a “what-if scenario,” and more of a personal obsession.
Well, at least it isn’t breaking the rules.
If you put the “Shame on” bit in 2 pairs of quotes, only 180 Google Search results appear on or at least under my settings.
I saw someone try to claim that since Disney now owns Fox it also owns the Rocky Horror Picture Show, therefore Frank - N - Furter is now a Disney princess.
Oh, when I see those being that I oppose the merger, rather than do the “-Nope. Some…” tweet, I now usu. go for the Block feature on my main Twitter account!
OK, I’ve added “to stop” to the title.
And you block all of the beings that see that you oppose the merger? Since everyone sees that, does that mean you block everyone?
Seriously, slow down and think about what you’re typing. Some of those words you’re leaving out seem to be pretty important.
I admit fault on #35. I should have said on #35 something like the following: “Oh, when I see those that say this character is now a Disney Princess, being that I oppose the merger, usu. go for the Block feature on my main Twitter account rather explain said character is not a Disney Princess.” Don’t believe me on that? That is your choice!
@Chronos: Sometimes I block the people who say things like “This merger was a good thing”. However, it is more often than not that I block the ignorant people who say things like “Anastasia is finally a Disney Princess” or those that think that Disney bought Fox News. Occasionally I do my copy-paste tweets on why the merger was bad. I have gotten a lot of like for my individual copy-pasted tweets of shaming Rupert Murdoch.
Are you under the impression that this shows you in a more favorable light?
Id rather mickey own it than Murdoch … and Hollywood agrees with me
