-Fox selling back those Marvel rights to Disney? Sure. However, at least give Fox Lucasfilm. Then, at least Fox would have had at least 1 major media franchise (Star Wars) to mooch off of. Don’t end a storied movie empire like that! It’s sad!

Yes, I get that Disney removed the Fox from “20th Century Fox” and similar companies last year to distance association with Fox News. However, that was still a lame move! While we are on that subject, realize this: -Fox News is legally-owned by the Fox Corp which is not part of Disney. Same goes for Fox Network and a few other Fox channels. However, channels like FX are now Disney-owned.

a. -Nope. Some DP are not actual princesses (be it by birth or marriage). Having a royal rank that’s “like a princess” is not the same as a princess. Only a girl that is a princess by either way and that Disney animated should be a DP.

  1. -For the record, Anastasia was a grand duchess. Despite it being similar to a princess, it is not a princess. Similar to how an emperor/empress is similar but different than a king/queen. Not sure what the differences are, though: Anastasia isn’t a Disney Princess because Disney has Princess rules - Polygon.

-Should time travel become a practical thing before I die, I would travel back so that the FNC was never formed. Also, 20CF bought Marvel and Lucasfilm each at least 15.5 years ago but the parent company of 20CF was at least $10-$15 bil. smaller than what it was 15.5 years ago.

Note: My harsher take of “-Shame on Rupert Murdoch for selling off most of the Fox Empire, for the USDOJ permitting a semi-monopoly, and Disney for buying. 1000s of lay-offs are not worth it. Uncle Walt and film producer William Fox would not approve of this merger.” is by far the most common thing I have ever said on-line. I’m really having a hard time following this. Are you saying that you would use your time-travel powers to make 20th Century Fox purchase Marvel and Lucasfilm at least 15 1/2 years ago? It doesn’t read that way – it reads like you believe that Fox bought those two companies, which they never did.

Fox had the film rights to certain Marvel characters (primarily the X-Men), which they had licensed long before Marvel was purchased by Disney in 2009. Fox had acted as the distribuor for the Star Wars films, but they never had ownership of Lucasfilm.

The weird thing is the thread title is repeated verbatim at the end of the post, so either the OP thinks it makes sense, or they copy/pasted the title into the post.

If the interpretations of the OP are correct then my answer is no. At least not right away. That would be awesome power and there are more important things to use it for. If it includes the time travel component I would first need to figure out if I should go kill Baby Hitler. Now if I did, it is possible that indirectly the future has changed and Disney is never in a position to but Fox in the first place, so that might satisfy the OP, but there could be much more serious problems that occur that would require the power to correct. And using the power in such a way will surely create time paradoxes that would probably end up with Fox buying out Disney and creating an even more loathsome chimera.

For those that can, feel free to fix the thread title so it is more grammatically-correct, like adding the word “stop”. Team Mickey is a term I use to described Disney. Yes, I would have that time machine make it so that 20CF did buy both of Marvel and Lucasfilm at least 15.5 years ago. That way all the newer SW movies would have the Fox logo at the start.

Also, I would make it so that Fox would never buy Disney out or vice versa with this time travel, outside of IP transfers. Heck, I would also make it so that RKO, MGM, Columbia Pictures, and United Artists as we knew them never died out!

So, am I ranting about why Disney getting 20CF and most of the 21CF was bad. The MAL might be a bit easier to read as the rants are given in better spoiler tags.
