Colleague gave me a heads up on this.

Not bad deal! It’s unusual to get the most popular smart phones free with 2 year renewals. Usually you have to pay $100 - $200.
Free phone friday - Today only for these deals

Then local BB said the Droid 2 is included asa free deal today under the Verizon plan although it’s not listed in the ad.
Double check with your local best buy to confirm.
