Actually got purple first. Guessed that Luffy was a pirate since it didn’t fit anywhere else. Accidentally hit submit instead of unselect all when I was sorting out the last two so lost my RR.
Felt like the Blue should have been the purple.

Purple seemed way too easy to be purple. No way I’d have gotten the reverse rainbow, though, since I only knew one of the blues (the most famous one).

Blue was the leftovers today. Purple was easier but was purple because ”contains homophone of” categories are almost always purple.
It’s Tuesday. Blue was an Americanism so no surprise it was last.

It’s late enough so I won’t spoiler, blue was the first one I saw, as one of his books is the only reading material I took to the hospital last month when I had surgery. So square in my wheelhouse. I figured it was a blue, even though it’s somewhat niche, so waited to find purple before putting that one in.

I kept trying for the red herring. The initial mistake was just trying to get a guess out of the way too quickly when there were five possibilities. But I even resorted to googling for the red herring. I really thought I had it when I found that
there is a Sisi Museum in Austria.
Went down a wrong path and never found my way back.

Can’t remember what I fumbled, but I thought I had it all solved before I hit the first submit button.
Is the use of sugar as a mild oath a regionalism? I don’t think I’ve ever heard it. (Now, of course, I’ll run into it six times in the next three days.)
It was museums. Tate, MOMA, and Frick are all famous museums, and there were a couple more that could be museums (Royal, Sisi).
I thought that it was too obscure to be the red herring, and that it HAD to be an actual category. I did sort of see the purples, but thought that THOSE must have been the red herring.
Tate wasn’t a choice but Met was.
Ah, right, that. I was going by memory.
I was totally caught by the red herring this time. Maybe because I go to a lot of art museums, MET, FRICK, MOMA and BROAD stuck out immediately
I seem to remember Marge Simpson said it once. Other than that, not for me either.
Wednesday’s was a pretty straightforward one for me.
