Pretty straightforward today. Purple leftovers didn’t fit any possible red herring, so high confidence guess. I was puzzled by ”C” meaning COLD, then thought about markings on a faucet. Relative difficulty of blue, green, and yellow was clear to me.
Not to me I guess. Thought yellow was blue which is pretty off.

Saw blue right away so ruled out the red herring. Purple was leftovers as is frequently the case, especially with that kind of category.
Thursday. I thought I detected a red herring, which I avoided, but I may have made it up in my own head.

I thought the Honda models were going to be the red herring. I still don’t know what the red herring is.
It was my first guess: CIVIC, KAYAK, MADAM, LEVEL - Palindromes
I jumped right on Wednesday’s yellow, which spared me from the red herring (which I otherwise totally would have fallen for). Purple was leftovers (I still haven’t gotten the hang of purples). No mis-guesses, though, so I’ve got that going for me.

I fell for the palindromes too. Yellow was last because I’ve never heard “SHELL” used to describe a watercraft.
It’s usually used for the boats used in crew racing.
