I didn’t know LUFFY myself, but it was pretty clear that was the only fourth answer to that category, as it didn’t seem at all to go with any other category, and seemed like it could be a name. There’s always going to be something I don’t know. Some Broadway musical, some random tidbit of pop culture, etc. Part of the challenge for me is working around the limitations of what I know and using strategy/elimination to try to figure out the puzzle regardless.

Weirdest reverse rainbow ever. Purple was glaringly obvious the second I saw HERCULE. Then I met the Mets very quickly after that (probably would have had that first had HERCULE not been at the top left).

With only eight squares left, the silent T became apparent, and possibly for the first time ever, I had absolutely no clue whatsoever what yellow was.

A completely backwards day.

Got purple first with a little help from Google

I knew we were looking for pigs. I’ve never read Animal Farm but heard enough about it to think Napoleon might be the pig.

Then I tried for the reverse rainbow . Figured out yellow and blue but thought blue was green so tried to enter the remaining four but somehow screwed up so went back to just entering the ones I was sure of.

I’m surprised that anyone managed a reverse rainbow on Sunday, because not only was purple easy, but blue was more typical of a purple.
