Didn’t get purple, but it’s certainly fair. I think it’s harder for mixing very old usages (memory lane) with recent stuff (foam and card).

Blue, green, and yellow fell in about 10 seconds each. I wanted to actually figure out purple before submitting, and it took me a looong time, mostly because I didn’t know what MEMORY HOLE was. I haven’t read 1984 since before 1980.
Wednesday, and I got a reverse rainbow, but Yellow was by far the most challenging for me.

I feel sorry for anyone who was trying for a reverse rainbow (or any other particular order) on Tuesday, because green and blue were both much easier than yellow (though all easy enough).
Purple, I didn’t get until I saw it, though I do recognize all of those.

War is an incredibly bad card game. I remember the time i realized that it was entirely deterministic. That was the last time i played. I was about 5, and I’m surprised i didn’t realize that earlier. But it’s easy to teach to kids.
I didn’t get purple because i didn’t know all those teams, but i knew some of the words had to be purple just because they didn’t make sense in any direct way. NETSCAPE? Yeah, that’s got to be wordplay.
Just goes to show that different people are different. I saw yellow right away, and was only worried it might be a red herring.
