When a stand-up comedian has a joke in the middle of their set that may not seem special, but it is memorable, and then later (maybe even as a closer) the huge punchline the audience goes home with refers back to that middling memorable joke, that is a CALLBACK.
Friday’s game was simple and straightforward.

I will just have to accept that I will never reliably sort green and yellow. Need to start flipping a coin, then I can blame bad luck. Actually sorting blue and purple was a bit of a toss up today as well.
It’s the weekend! And Saturday’s was easier than I expected, though I accidentally sidestepped a red herring that I think may trip up a bunch of you.

Didn’t see any red herrings. Saw a couple of almost ones.

Fell for the red herring then don’t agree with green
Red herring:
Last word in title of famous plays: Cometh (Iceman), Desire(Streetcar), Earnest(Importance of Being), Salesman(Death of)
Yeah, Saturday’s red herring was un-obvious enough that I didn’t think it’d be a red herring. And then I saw that there were five jobs, but I wasn’t sure what was more specific to pick out four, and there were also five homophones of first names, and I thought there must be something more specific about them, but there wasn’t.

Didn’t sort the two wordplays correctly. Actually got the green/yellow correct. Wasted time on the red herring, although the bot had it way down on the common mistake list (3%) and for the wrong reason.
Sunday’s game. It was okay.

Very straightforward. Although y’all should know - absolutely no-one in South Africa uses the word “Johannesburger”. It’s “Jo’burger” or nothing.
Didn’t see the red herring until I already moved past it.

Straightforward.
So it’s not a South African fast food chain?
Another mix up yellow and green day.
I saw part of a red herring, but I couldn’t find four matches for it, so I moved on.
