Every day I play the same puzzles, in this order: Waffle, Quordle, Quordle Sequence, Squaredle, then finally Connections.
On weekdays I usually get halfway through Squaredle before I have to leave for work, so complete it and Connections when I get home.
Yeah, Wordle kind of bores me, but I like playing it with my kids. We try to pick a new starter word every day and not play this optimized CRANE/SLATE sort of way. We got lucky the other day when the word was the controversial GOFER, and our starting word was GRIEF, so we got it in 2 when the average was 5.8. 
You mean the cursed word that stopped my streak?
Yeah, were it not for that lucky, lucky first word, I’m not sure I would have gotten it, either. With GRIEF, that was the only possible word left and I was like, nah, it can’t be, but it can’t be anything else. My problem with streaks is not missing out on a word (it’s been a long time since I couldn’t get one – came really close the other day, but got it in 6 when there were 3 possible words left), but missing out on a day because I had other things to do and forgot about doing Wordle. And, unfortunately, if it’s Monday and you forgot to do Sunday’s, you can’t go back and do Sunday’s, even if you do it before Monday’s, to continue the streak.

Pretty straightforward. After yellow, BUDDY, SILENT, and DATE all landed together on a re-shuffle, so purple pretty much solved itself.

No hassles today; didn’t even see the red herring. And I did figure out purple after they were the only four left.
Wednesday’s game: I got Purple first, it stood out, for reasons you’ll probably see too.

This was tough today. I never got purple . I saw one of the answers but didn’t see the other three.
Was sure that the Blue would be the Purple today.

I made a fat finger mistake entering purple this morning and then spent a long time trying to realize where I went wrong before I realized I had made a typo. My own worst enemy.
Totally agree. Blue is rather obscure, IMO.
Funny how the mind works. (Well, my mind, anyway). I got Purple when I noticed that ORGAN and GROAN were anagrams. That started me down the correct path.
