The anti-SSM crowd are using the same tactics as the anti-abortion crowd. The only things they are not doing is harassing same sex couples on their way to their weddings and killing the people who perform them. But that’s only a matter of time.
Probably not as much however. Abortion is conveniently for the attackers restricted to a small number of clinics that they can surround and harass, and women who need their services are required to go there. People who can legally perform marriages aren’t all concentrated in a single place (or less) per state like that. And they’ll be harassing more than just pregnant women; just like the animal rights extremists throw paint on women wearing furs and not leather clad bikers, I don’t think they’ll be as willing to harass a wedding group that’s likely to have a lot of men in it.
