If you wear that, I'll disown you.

I liked the wedding photo with the bridesmaids in chocolate brown (and Paris Hilton with a blue face), but I think brown for formalwear is very tricky. One thing I believe about brown formalwear (for women, anyway) is that brown is a very informal colour, so the cut and fabric can be überformal then. A classic formal gown made of chocolate satin can be very nice (plus you avoid being one of the hundred women at an event wearing black). I’m having a hard time imagining a brown tux looking formal enough, though. Brown suits just aren’t formal enough, no matter how many satin lapels you put on them.

As an aside, if I had brown skin, I don’t think I would wear any colour except brown. Man, that looks good!

You are my new best friend. I’m on page 46, I’m going the distance baby!

My husband is colorblind. We have a 4 year old girl. I thought about buying her the shirt that said “I’m cute but my Daddy dresses me funny” but then I came home one day and he had her in leopard print pants, a blue, green and yellow striped shirt and a pink and white with silver sparkles sweater. I figured the point was made.

Her bus driver says she knows when he dresses her. The sad thing is, once she figures out she can pick her clothes, she’ll probably be just as bad. I’m on the people of walmart site and the most atrocious folks she say “Good picture Momma!”

I’m scared.
