If your side loses...

I think about anything can be fixed in the long run. meanwhile, we have to live in the short run. :frowning:

I am surrounded by righties at work so I get to listen to them tell us how & why it was unfair assuming Obama wins.

Tuesdays my wife has chorus practice. I’ll watch porn like always.

Nothing will be a greater shock than GW being elected for a second term, so life will just go forward.

Finally, something we can all agree upon!

Say “fuck” - a LOT, start buying a few boxes of ammo every payday and buy a couple more guns as soon as I’m financially able.

And probably start looking for a 2nd job. Being forced to buy health insurance to cover MrPanda and PandaKid will financially devastate us. On my current income it’ll literally be health insurance vs. the mortgage.

I hate that fucker.

The same. Well, except I’ll not buy the guns and ammo. OH, and I’ll have to get the second job because I’m one of the 47% and won’t be able to participate in the coming prosperity. For someone.

I guess I’ll just say “fuck” a lot.

I will grab my “bug-out” bag and haul ass to my cabin near Chama. There I will sit on the roof of my Minnie Winnie with my AR and drink beer (emptying targets) and wait for the walkers…

Definitely the first and the third option. And start thinking about the second - I can easily move back to Japan, but it won’t be so easy for my wife.

But chances are, if Romney is going to win, it will be by such a razor-thin margin that we won’t know the outcome until several states have completed their recounts, and all provisional ballots counted. That can take many days, if not weeks.

sorry for double post

Wow! You sound exactly like me, although I may be a bit more on Obama’s side than you are… but yeah, that’s pretty much how I feel exactly. If Romney wins I will be hopeful that he will be the good Romney that he can be. Just like when Kerry lost in '04, I said “well, I hope Bush gets better in his 2nd term”

Yeah, I can see how guns and bullets take precedence over health insurance. I’m a huge fan of the 2nd amendment but wow. Just wow.

Wait, so you’re in dire enough straits that you’ll have to choose between health insurance and the mortgage, but you’ll still be buying multiple boxes of ammo every single week?

Panda, you can bring your family up to my place. We need guns. We can start a colony…

I have an idea for you… Last election, I recall that lots of folks went out and bought ammunition. To the point it was getting scarce. Then, because Obama did nothing about guns or ammunition, there was piles of it around - it was a glut on the market. If you just wait awhile, then you should be able to buy cheap ammunition from all of those ill-informed guys who bought up all the expensive ammunition right after the election! Winning!

Drown in sorrow for fear that universal health care, a social agenda that people have fought for for 100 years, is going to be destroyed.

That is assuming Romney overturns/repeals the law. And assuming democrats refuse to pass another law anytime soon for fear of the same thing happening.

I don’t see the presidential election as the biggest thing this time around. It’s more about the local elections/propositions/etc.

I’m in CA, and I’ll be really pissed if everyone votes “yes” on things that cost money 'CAUSE WE AIN’T GOT ANY!!!

To be fair Wesley, a president cannot overturn the ACA. And you know that!

Congress can take some action, and that could play out…

But don’t be disingenuous…

And I would be curious as to how The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act actually effects you Wesley. Can you break it down for me?
