If you're a Bernie supporter, are you willing to vote for Hillary?

Bernie won’t be on any more ballots after the DC primary. So–you want people to waste their votes on a write-in candidate? Most Bernie supporters are fine folks but a few have been for Trump all along.

Oh, that Edmund Burke quotation is bogus.

Whatever our new poster’s motivations are or really believes one thing we can expect to see across all social media platforms are new contributors claiming to be Sanders supporters beating the drums that Clinton “stole” the nomination and is a crooked stooge, while Trump will “shake things up.”

Some of these people will be the few true Bernie or Bust folks, this election’s PUMAs. Many will be Trump supporters trying to stir up shit.

Not sure what the best sort of response to the group of fresh faces making these sorts of contributions should be.

We could offer them free Proud Professional Astroturfer t-shirts.

Site I’ve never heard of polls about 800 people and predicts that over 91% of Bernie supporters will not vote for Hillary.

And they are idiots. When I was 14 I had a choice between LBJ and RMN. I was McCarthy all the way, but realized AS A HIGH SCHOOL FRESHMAN that there were bigger stakes in play.

At the time we would call those people “retards.” I don’t believe the term has changed in those 48 years.

With a 95% MOE.

In the case of LBJ vs. Nixon, what were the bigger stakes? Both favored the Vietnam War, both favored civil rights, both favored environmental protection. I would think we’d all agree that a vote for Nixon was a pretty valid objection to the direction of the Democratic Party at the time.

I don’t take seriously polls I’ve never heard of, and even if it were Gallup’s numbers, I would take those with a grain of salt until September. There’s a lot of time between now and late September for Trump to show us just how awful a president he would be. And I trust he will do that. And if he softens his tone, then he’ll come across as inauthentic.

That’s the problem with voting for the authentic candidate. At some point, reality begins to settle in and you can actually begin to imagine this guy running an economy and a global military.

I doubt anyone would take that ‘poll’ seriously except the most vapid of Bernie supporters. Leaving aside the fact that no one has ever heard of the site, the polls I’ve seen were on the order of 20-25% not voting for Clinton, and that at 6 or 7 months from the election. It’s clearly some kind of propaganda.
