Is it rude and/or condecending to state that nobody can and/or will ever find themselves on my ignore list? Am I expressing bigotry and judgement, shame and dissmissiveness for the likes of whom would have such a closed mind or severe psychological intolorance to that which negates their value; that they sever the tie, in effect negating their existence as that person and the general negation of that persons existence or point of being?
Am I considered a braggart to state that nobody will ever appear on my ignore list?
As such, am I creating a situation of devisiveness which spawns hatred and transparent judgement exchange, in a situation where I could have simply kept my mouth shut? Is it proper to issue as a rule behavior which forces decption on everyone so as to discourage the ethical divide between those who are not offended and those who need to lurk in the shadows of judgement and secrecy for their own benefit?
I really hope this thread doesn’t get judged an accidental offshoot of bj0rn’s similarly-titled thread, and merged in with it. I’m not sure my poor brain could handle that kind of stress.
I know there is a rule about this, but I want to place particlewill on my ignore list. Most of the time I always seem to know what he’s going to say anyway.
Does particlewill agree with particlewill’s points and only disagree with particlewill’s consistency? Does that mean particlewill retracts his general purpose or motivitaion, thus negating the points particlewill raised? To that degree, is it rude to not mention this to people who have taken an interest in partaclewill’s discussions? Or is it ruder to let people know that particlewill has only been disingenuous and has yanked everyones chain including partaclewills own chain the entire time?
yes, stating that you will never use the ignore function does, perforce, assert a moral superiority over those who have yet to disavow use of the schismistic functionality.
Wow, that post makes my head hurt. It is almost as if your post we written, translated to chinese (via babblefish) thrown thru a legal dictonary then back again into english.
it kinda sucks when I have to read something again and again just to graps the point.
I don’t even know what pressing the ignore button does.
However, I was told by the rulers on another board to ignore a certain stalekr I have, so I pressed the ubtton.
I don’t know what it will do, but hopefulyl, I won’t have tor ead their insipid posts.
Based on experience on another board using the same software as this: When you come accross one for the ignored person’s posts, instead of their post in a thread you get
“This person is on your ignore list. Click here to see the post”
