Oh, I don’t know. Chipotle is fairly good quality, and Panera Bread is too. When I was on the road for four months last year, my group ate more than half of our lunches at one of those three places.
Oh, and I’ll take one of those three. Maybe Chipotle today.
This is hard. The Subway in my town has a drive through, but the only Chipotles and Paneras I’ve been to don’t.
I’ll go with McDonald’s. Their Cokes are usually good, and I like their grilled chicken salads. It’s not great, but it’s adequate and that’s more than I can say about my cooking.
Actually, now that you mention it, I’m not certain I’ve been to a Chipotle with a drive-through window. I’ve certainly been to a Panera Bread with one, though.
So when are you taking us to lunch? Tuesdays and Thursdays work best for me. And if I’m driving through the drive through I’m listening to what I want to listen to on the radio and you can deal with it.
Tim Hortons. If I’m not allowed to choose bagels I’d probably end up with Taco Bell. Considering they’re the only two places where i can count on a decent selection of vegetarian food, the choice is pretty easy.
In N Out for a grilled cheese sandwich animal style and a shake if we’re allowed to travel. I loved getting animal style grilled cheeses when I was visiting out west. As a vegetarian, I don’t always get to eat that well at fast food places.
If it has to be a place with local stores, I’d go with Taco Bell and get a Seven Layer burrito probably (or maybe a chalupa with beans instead of meat depending on how I was feeling).
Ruth’s Chris Steak House. If I can call ahead of time I can be in and out in 5 minutes, and EVERY restaurant can be a “drive through” with a big enough car and aggressive enough attitude!
Well, I don’t want to have to go far for fast food, so I’ll limit it to drive thrus within 30 minutes of home. How to choose, how to choose? I think I’ll take the first one alphabetically: McDonalds. No, wait. It might be more fun to mix things up and go reverse alphabetically: McDonalds. Hmm.
The Dallas version of this is called: Pollo Regio. The only place in town that I know of that serves verde sauce like the Mexican Taco Gods intended it to be: SPICEY!! Really, really, SPICEY!!
Unfortunately, I don’t know of an El Pollo Loco analogue up here. No EPL here, nor the state below us, nor the one next to us. There is supposed to be a Popeye’s in town, but I haven’t seen it.
