The Carry On films are exactly the sort of entertainment I should loathe, but I love them.
Though some of the cast members overlapped occasionally, the Carry On films and St. Trinians films are different series.

I knew that, as the British Film Repertory Company is only so large, but I started with Alastair Sim in drag. It’s a great start and blinds one to other series.
They’re not very similar series, really. They’re both old British comedies, but that’s about it. Have you seen any Carry Ons?
I enjoyed Carry on Cabby most of the ones I’ve seen, mostly because of Hattie Jacques’ affecting performance. (Although Carry On Screaming runs a close second, mostly because of va-va-voom Fenella Fielding as a vampire.
