anybody have experience with this dvd recorder???
I opened this thread wondering what kind of “L33T” nonsense this was supposed to be. You might get a better response if you indicated the manufacturer of the DVD and what kind of experience you’re looking for. Are you interested in features, performance, cost, whether it will play certain media types, service reliability, or what?

The OP just left out a couple spaces. iLO is the brand name, which is a “house brand” WalMart launched recently. We’re going through another round of this sort of rebranding operation by retailers - Best Buy has started selling consumer electronics under the “Insignia” brand. Maybe I’m being a snob, but I wouldn’t buy house branded consumer electronics, just on general principal. For one thing, you wind up with the retailer, rather than a named manufacturer, being your sole contact for support. They are contracting with the cheapest Asian supplier they can get to manufacture the stuff, and the only incentive the manufacturer has to produce quality is maintaining their contract - the consumer doesn’t even know they exist.
