So instead I am starting a thread all about ME and MY birthday right here, blatantly fishing for well-wishing.

In the past few months I’ve broken out in acne AND gray hair. Is this what 30 is? An amalgamation of ailments from different decades? Ugh!

WOW! Congratulations! Man, do I remember my 30th birthday…my voice changed, I started being interested in girls, I got hair in previously hairless regions, and my other testicle descended.
30 is being old enough to know what to do with it and still being young enough to find it in the dark.
Those bastards had better try…I’m gonna be sitting in the rain at the game Thursday. I’ll be just behind the Sox’s dugout, so if nothing else I will be able to heckle!!
Good God…being a girl, I hope that NONE of those things happen to me- ever! 
Me too, but not as much as when I turned 40. I look forward to 50, when I can do a combover with my back hair.
