My husband is taking me to Red Robin tomorrow. He also ordered a cake; don’t know what it’s going to look like.
Started celebrating a bit early, hence this thread.
You know, after all these years, I still love Easy Rider . Sigh…I love to travel. Always wanted to just hit the road with no destination.
I sure am Gen-X, though. So is Mr. Rilch. Best partner I ever could have found.
Wishing you a good day, a good year and a great life!
I’ve been 39 for some months. Despite being divisible by 13, it’s feels like an undefined number.
Welcome to the tail end of a transitionary period.
Happy Birthday!
…and don’t let go of the Easy Rider dream… it’s nice to dream!
Happy birthday, Ril .
In Easy Rider they went to New Orleans. It’s a great place to go.

My dad turns 63 today. Even if it weren’t his birthday today this thread would be reminding me of him. He used to have a motorcycle, back when I was a little kid, and now that mom is gone I’m wondering whether he’s interested in riding again.
I think it would do him a world of good to get a ride (he lives near the Harley factory in York, he even knows some of their guys, they could get him a nice ride), take a sabbatical from work, and go out and see the country for a week or three.
ETA: and happy birthday to you, Rilchiam !
Happy Birthday to you, my friend!!!
Me, too. 19 months, to be exact.
Happy Birthday, Rilchiam ! Pretty soon you’ll have to change your name to Oldiam !

I’m 39 too. But Easy Rider is sooo Baby Boomer.
My birthday is tomorrow! Yay March births!
Happy Birthday, young 'un!
Happy birthday.
Welcome to the club, I turned 39 in February.
Um…you remember how that movie ended, right?
Next you’ll be watching Ol’ Yeller and hankering for a dog.
And just for the record, I’m a member of the club myself.
I would trade ya (I’m 50+) but we wouldn’t fit each others’ clothes and your hubby probably prefers you (female) to me (male)
I’ve been 39 for a few years now, I can highly recommend it! Here’s hoping you had a fantastic day and the cake was perfect.
