I'm a visionary philosopher! (Online IQ test)

135 and precision mathematician. That surprises me since I’ve always been terrible in math. I am very visual though in that it is hard for me to comprehend something without seeing it.

It was fun anyhow.

  1. I’m a visionary philosopher. Yeah, right.

lieu: That sequence is the anagram for England; at least’s that what I answered.

Visual mathematician at 129 here. I especially remember the cars going 6 miles out, then taking a left. It can be done using trig, which I never took. Or by using high school geometry. I think I did the latter, I took a pencil, measured the distance of each by number of page lines.

A visual mathematician does not necessarily make a good numerical mathematician. I made C’s in college math. Although I did well in High school math

Another 136 VP. I still think it should be cocoanut. It’s the only choice that won’t become overly ripe, attracting fruit flies and wasps, so there.

131- insightful linguist

scrambled word= England

I picked the coconut for the fruit that didn’t belong

136, and I am someone who is likely to see a lot more spam in my inbox.

Insightful linguist at 136. Although, if they knew some of my reasons behind the answers, the may have dropped me 20 points. After all, I picked coconut becuase it’s the only fruit that’s hairy.

124, Facts Curator. I’m pretty bad at those visual problems, I think.

131, Visionary philospher.

I suck at math! But I am good at seeing patterns, so the what comes next questions are easy. The 2 cars drive blah blah make my head hurt…
BUT, can someone explain to me how the spoilers work? How am I supposed to see the text? I am still kinda new to the boards…

Someone needs to take the test, and get all answers wrong, just to see what he becomes.

I bet his/her IQ still is over 100

Hrm. 144 and visionary philosopher, whatever that means.

I chose grape because of the vine/tree thing, too.

I think I’d rather be a linguist

I’m an Insightful Linguist at the 135 level.

Also, I used a real email addy for a lesser-used screen name of mine, and I received an email, which opens with:

“71% of Insightful Linguists would be more tempted to see their main squeeze covered in whipped cream, than eat an ice cream sundae covered in whipped cream.”

Ah, those cunning linguists…

142 vis/phl…and the fruit question. I put banana, cause they’re not necessarily a fruit, I think they are actually considered an herb and the tree-like stalk from which they grow is not a tree at all.

Although, in retro…I think a coconut is probably the MOST different in appearance and ediblility.

I think the age and education levels are a big factor in the score. I’d like to take it again but claim to be 12 yrs. old. in jr. high…

see what women it’d hook me up w/

ediblility…yikes! (bet ya can’t say that 3 times fast)

try edibility

122 and a Word Warrior.

The problem with IQ tests is that I SUCK at math. But there’s ALWAYS math.

Yeah… clearly a case could be made for any of the fruit being categorically dissimilar, but I suspect the coconut is the correct answer for at least two perspicuous reasons: 1. Of all the various fruit listed, the coconut is the only with an impermeable and durable, hard outer shell., but I believe the more likely reason is 2. Although the grape, pear, apple and banana each have multiple seeds, the coconut IS a single seed

I took the test almost 18 years ago, but I still remember my score; 138 “ FACTS CURATOR”

I should take the test again to see if I’ve learned a damn thang in nearly 20 yrs !!!
