I'm an idiot . . .

for postponing my math classes until the very end of my college career. I am on the 20-year plan (graduated from HS in 1981), and am graduating on August 14th. Hooray!

However, the end of the spring semester found me with three more classes to take. Two math and one English history. I work full-time. I am taking hellementary statistics and English history during the first five-week summer term, and then a survey math class during the second summer term. This means that I’m in class 4 hours a day Monday through Thursday, leaving me with not much time to, you know, study and do homework.

In addition, there is a reason I’m an English major. I can learn math, given a competent instructor and time to do the homework, but it doesn’t stay with me. Six weeks after graduation, I probably won’t know a thing about statistics.

I’m feeling particularly stressed this morning, as I have an essay exam in English history in an hour; three chapters of statistics homework due tomorrow night when I take my first statistics exam. Yikes!

I kinda have the wiggins right now. Just thought I’d share it with you. Maybe, just maybe, I’m not the only one who managed things this poorly? :smack: I mean, Izzybella is in the same boat with me–we’re sisters and are taking our math classes together. She’s also taking an intro to social work and a nutrition course this summer. But we really like the Dopers, you who are among the few people with whom we can discuss intelligent topics along with the more mundane things, such as farting and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So we’d feel better if any of y’all have done the same thing.
