I do like the idea of taking their photo and will try it today. I’m not too worried about them trying to take it away from me in the middle of the Homebush shopping street at lunch time.

From what I understand, that would be highly illegal to carry or own in Australia.
I would agree talking with the police and the principal of their school. These punks need somebody to give them an attitude adjustment, but the OP is not in a position to do it. Better if its an authority figure.
