I'm Craving a Tall Glass of MMP

Is that a whole chicken or pieces n parts?
Right now I am full of pozole, which was canned but serviceable, and I’m enjoying cool weather with warm sun and a probability of rain on the horizon…life is good. Even better when surrounded by 7 dogs, even though I am NOT a dog person. Now, someone tell THEM that, lol.
Happy sound check day…one two, one two, one two

If at first you don’t fricassee, then fry, fry a hen.

Death Chicken

Home for a few. I emptied and refilled the dishwasher, took Higgs out 3 times, and started the water maker for makeup water - we were down to 5 gallons and we use at least a gallon a day. I’ll let it run for 3 hours and see how much we get.

Puppeh is wearing her harness, and she’s not happy about it. She’ll be less happy when I take her in the car. Too bad - gotta go to the vet.

FCD won’t be home till Firday. :frowning: So I have 2 more mornings of dealing with pup-asaurus. I hope he doesn’t have to go back next week, since we’re leaving next Firday.

BIL is in CCU (?) - he’s having problems breathing, and apparently the smoking has done bad stuff to his lungs. His mind is also weird - he knows who he is and who my sister is, but he’s been talking about being camped out by a bridge near a dam. It doesn’t sound good…

And I got an email from a former coworker - an older guy we used to work with died recently. It wasn’t a huge surprise - he was 71 and another life-long smoker. He’d just retired 2 years ago - that’s the really sucky part. That’s 2 people I know who were dead within 2 years of retirement. Guess I can never stop working…

And on that happy note, I need to load the pup into the car and head to Charlotte Hall.

Laterz!

I didn’t know they lasted that long!
You must take care of her.

Parts or whole?

You could go with 40 clove chicken, there’s a bunch of recipes on the web.
Some call for broth and/or wine but when I made it I only used olive oil, butter and of course garlic. In put carrots and potatoes in with it too.

If it’s parts you could put them in a casserole dish, slice green pepper and onions on top, pour a can of crushed tomatoes on top of that, sprinkle with oregano, cover and bake. When it’s done put a slice of mozzarella or provolone on on top of each piece and put back in the oven until the cheese melts. You can serve over pasta or rice or if it’s boneless pieces put it on a roll.

Parts. Boobies to be specific.

I made this for my dad last week, and it was yummy!

Butter and or olive oil in a skillet, season the breasts however you like. I used just Cavenders and it was delicious! Add bloops of white wine or sherry or something silmilar as you go so th pan doesn’t dry out. Use a lid to seal things in, medium heat. Sautéed mushrooms added and using Marsala coking wine apparently makes it chicken Marsala, who knew? I didn’t, but it was y mummy!

Ah, I didn’t know there was a MMP recipes blog. Cool!

You would be surprised, the engines are simple and for that matter so is the rest of the bike. I have the shop manual, tools and a junker for parts, with a little work I can do just about anything she needs done.

My step dad just sold his 72’ BMW R65. Had it for 10 years and put about 80k miles on it, got more than he paid for it. He traded up to a 08’ Yamaha sport/touring bike and he loves it, put more than 5k miles on it in 3 months, he is 63 years old. He has been riding down here to Houston from FT. Worth every other week because of my sister and the twins.

Speaking of which, I have been a bad Mumper, I have forgotten to update you all on the nephews. Both are well eating, breathing and soiling as babies are prone to. They will be out of the Hospital and home for Christmas. Peyton and Sebastian are off to a good start. I am currently taking donations for the P&S Firearms, Explosives and Motorcycle Fund, just PM me :D. I really enjoy upsetting my Sister.

Oh and Jynx whatever you decide to do with the chikin boobies, remember like boobies everywhere they must be well massaged, just saying:D

I’m home from a long day. Did you miss me?

Home from the vet - Higgs gained almost 3# in the 4 weeks since we had her there. Vet says her weight is good and to keep feeding her as we are. He also showed me how to clip her nails, and she’ll go back next month to be spayed.

I’m about to have supper, then veg the night away. I’s tahred, but I’ve got to stay up till 9 - the poor pup is confined 10 hours a day - I can’t make her go to bed early, too. I’ll be so glad when my sweetie gets home to care for *his *dog. For the record, I didn’t want a dog. And yet, we have a dog…

According to the Mayan calendar the world was supposed to end today.
12 12 12. Isn’t that the dumbest thing you ever hea

No, flytrap, 12/21/12 - we still have 9 days

Good Afternoon!

Ok I feel teh stoopit,

I have been working on music, specifically 7th chord Arpeggios. Today while practicing I realized that the melody of the do-re-me-fa-so-la-te-do song is a small variation on the Maj 7th arpeggios. How the heck did I miss that? I started playing piano in 1980! Now I haven’t been nose to the grindstone about music but … Really?

I can only share this here because I know my musician friends would look at me and go “well duh”

Anyhoo That’s all I have

Jim

I am finally finished with grad school!!! Yay me!

Woohoo!!!

I’ve been sitting here screwing around waiting for an online concert to start at 7 p.m. Turns out it’s starting at 7 p.m. pacific time. :smack:

Guess I’d better get to work for a couple hours and try again later.

YAY you, indeed!

I finished writing a piece of music for my friend’s mother. My second-ever commission!
