It’s kind of a trip going to an Outback Steakhouse in Australia. Feels just like the good ol’ US of A Surprisingly, they were able to bring out meals for twenty people at roughly the same time, hot, and without excessive delay.
Best of all, it’s great to have the type of friends where, upon adding up the money everyone’s thrown in, you’re a little bit over rather than a little bit under.
I went there (I assume the same one, it’s in the area) and I was a bit disappointed, mostly because they offered blue cheese dressing, which I miss, but it wasn’t really. I dunno what it was, but it wasn’t what I know to be blue cheese dressing.
So I was disappointed!
There are Lone Stars here, too, one in Parramatta, I think, is closest to me. I’ve also seen Chilis (but not eaten there.)
I had dinner at an Outback Steakhouse last night m’self. A Two giant beers, grilled shrimp app, salad w/Honey Mustard dressing, loaded baked potato, and a delmonico steak. I also ate a few bites of the kids’ mac n’ cheez. I didn’t have room for dessert, but if I was still hungry after all that, I think I might have just ordered another steak.
