This happened to me once. The boss was an absolute Cunt. It was a shit job anyway.
To be frank I read your post after writing what I did but I can understand why you took it personally. Just remember that because a post is under yours, it doesn’t make it a reply.
A developer I knew at a previous job got a call on his cell phone in his car on his way home from work on a Friday from his boss, who told him he was being let go and to pick his stuff up at the front door on Monday. His boss told the rest of the team he had been let go for tardiness, which was 100% bullplop and everyone knew it. After talking about it for a while we realized that he was two weeks from his one year anniversary, and consequent good sized bonus.
So this guy was late for his own firing, will he also be late for his own funeral?
