Well, kicked in the balls probably isn’t the worst you could be feeling right now, so congratulations on a successful operation!
Okay but do follow the good doc’s advice. Feet up. Ice the region. Take your pain meds. Don’t walk around for the next 48 hours. It will feel like you’ve been racked in the nuts but the recovery time will be fairly quick. You’ll be back to running your usual distance and pace in a couple of weeks at most.
Chill dude.
Well, it’s Tuesday morning, I’ve had three and a half days of mostly rest since my procedure was done at 9:00 Friday morning, and I’ve got to tell you - I feel fine. When I posted friday afternoon, I think I was at the end of a dose of Tylenol 3 with Codein™ and hadn’t yet redosed. I’m still a bit tender, and feeling squashed from wearing this damned Jock Strap (and I’ll be wearing it for another week), but I’m back to work and doing fine. I’ll save you the clinical prose. It’s already been posted about on the boards, and I’ve nothing to add but the Jock Strap angle previously mentioned.
Zippe-dee-doo-dah, and all that rot. Carry on.
Winston
You know, I read this as “feel up”, and all I could think was “I didn’t think that was part of a vasectomy recovery process!”.
Oh, and feel better, Winston.
