IMHO, it’s no longer a message board. A little too fast-moving to read leisurely … always feeling a step behind when seeing a bunch of posts just pop up at the bottom.

I’m sort of here I guess. My old username was markn+. It replaced the + with _ as expected, but it also didn’t like a name that ends with an underscore, so now I’m named markn_1. Or someone is. I’m not sure if I’m me or not.
And when you quote someone, their quote doesn’t appear with your new post. Yikes.
@JohnT, I think they are working to fix the quote tags. Tuba mentioned they were broken for now.
What an unpleasant change. Maybe this was the push I needed to quit this board, now that reading is so difficult and the page is busy with crap that I don’t want to see. We’ll see, but my hopes are not high.

Wow, this looks weird. And I see what I’m typing twice, simultaneously in two places – I can’t think of anything useful about that.
However, it seems to be working – aha. I clicked on “hide preview” and the double typing went away. But the reply window’s now hanging half over some part of somebody else’s post. And those icons at the top of the window keep blinking around, which is distracting.
Oh well, I suppose I’ll get used to it.

I clicked on a link that said “Log in with email.” I checked my email and there was a link to click that brought me back here and I was logged in. I didn’t even have to type my password.
