Found out about the KROQ Inland Invasion a bit too late to get decent tickets, But I’ll likely see Siouxsie and Ministry at House Of Blues while I’m here.
Other than a side trip to Vegas, what else is there that’s cool to see, listen to and/or eat?

O.K., but apparently the show is like 2 hours long, better not be one of those whiny goths. 
Betcha there are no Spudnuts or In’N’Out Burgers up north either!
Uh… nope. I missed my last chance to see them in Milwaukee, WI in 1995 and have always felt bad for not ditching work to see her.
eunoia: Spudnuts! Venice and Sawtell. In’N’Out I don’t miss. But Fatburger is another story. Better burgers, better fries. (It’s next to Spudnuts, BTW.) And Tito’s Tacos. And the pastrami sandwiches from Sorento Italian Market on Sepulveda in Culver City. drool
But hey, I have a house now. With a yard. And it’s never too hot. And today we have a nice heavy rain. 
I miss my house and yard in the frozen Montréal tundra already, thank goodness for duty-free Lagavulin! 
I went to In’N’Out for the very first time just a few nights ago. Good stuff, but not extraordinary. Just thought I’d put that out there.
