Zette
Last week for Halloween I encouraged everyone in the office to bring in their “scariest” CD; the one that they can’t believe that they own or (secretly) enjoy. We played them over the phone system speakers all day. While there were several strange offerings, the weirdest had to be a collection called “America Salutes The Beatles”, which consisted of country music artists covering the Fab Four. I was particularly impressed with Randy Travis’s rendition of “Nowhere Man”.
Johnny Cash singing I’m Being Eaten by a Boa Constrictor.
William Shatner’s album, The Transformed Man.
In addition to reciting passages from Shakespeare, he does cover versions of “Mr. Tambourine Man,” “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” “It Was a Very Good Year,” and two others that I can’t remember.
Did I mention that William Shatner can’t sing? (He doesn’t even try; he just speaks the words in that Shatner-esque rhythm of his.)
