Well I’m posting now even though it’s only Thursday night. I can’t see losing anything besides water between now and tomorrow. That said, 208 lbs, the same as last time. I’m going to have to get off my ass a little more to meet the goal by the deadline.
From 4/2:
Weigh-in today, 4/8: 361.
Well, I now have three weeks to lose ten pounds. Darn Easter candy.
Weigh-In Today: 181
I fell off the wagon with my diet and exercise this week… got to get back on this weekend.
Today - 171
As of this morning I am at 191, so it looks like 4 lbs gone. But that sounds like too much of a loss for me in one week+ so I wonder if my initial wiegh-in was accurate. I don’t recall what time of day I weighed myself to start, so maybe I caught myself at a high point durig the day.
I just don’t think I’ve done enough exercise in the past week to burn off that much.
But hey – I’ll take it. 191.
Weigh in today 48.25 quartern-loaves, equivalent to 193 pounds - 3 pounds down this week, 6 pounds down in total.
Yesterday, net loss 2 lbs.
Been walking, using the mini-Stairmaster, and doing 300 leg lifts per side, daily.
I sure hope that muscle thing is true.
still 204, and I just realised that I posted the results of my weigh-in in the wrong thread! <insert smack smiley here>
Wow. I weighed myself today, under ‘bad’ circumstances: wearing all my normal clothing (which includes wallet in pocket, shoes, etc.), the week before my period (so I’m retaining enough water to make the Great Lakes look like a creek), and after eating…
…and it shows I’m down by three pounds.
I’ve changed all of one thing since I last weighed myself (almost three weeks ago now): the kind of homromal birth control I was using. I knew I was retaining a lot of water, but I didn’t think I was hanging onto that much!
Weighed today at 220, down 4 lbs. for the first week. Course, that was before a big lunch, and weekends are always kind of a crapshoot for me.
Wow! Mrs Legion and myself have just return form an “Olde England Night” and, it being Friday, I jumped on the bathroom scales expecting to see some dramatic weight loss.
Imagine my surprise when the electronic scales blew a fuse while attempting to measure my weight!
1510 LBS!
Luckily, Mrs Legion spotted the problem and suggested I divest myself of the suit of armour that historical authenticity had demanded of me earlier!
Imagine our surprise when the scales, with a new fuse, exploded for a second time!
1289 LBS!
I was horrified, but sanity prevailed after Mrs Legion suggested that I dismount the horse before my weekly weigh in!
164 LBS! Yea! Minus 2 pounds!
Well I’m up 2 pounds. That’s what I get for joining this thread the week hockey playoffs start
Going to have watch what I eat a little more in order to lose 10 pounds by the end of the month.
Congrats to all who are losing weight. Keep it up.
I joined Weight Watchers 8 weeks ago. I’ve lost nearly 10 pounds, but more importantly, I’m rearranging where it all goes. I’ve punched one new hole in my belt and will probably have to go buy new clothes in the next couple of weeks.
I’m down to 285 from 290 if this scale here is to be trusted. Five pounds in a week?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that I’ve lost that much (if true) but that seems like a hell of a lot of weight to lose in only eight days.
My progress appears to have come to a screeching halt.
No change at all, from 222 to 222.
I’ve been eating much healthier, and I certainly feel better, though. I guess I’ll just have to ramp up the exercise a bit more.

Yippyskippy! I have lowered my LDLs from 141 to 76. YEAH! I am eating more salmon, more peanuts, and no white bready things. Also, running and Dance Dance Revolution. Also eating any vegetable or fruit to slow to run away. Total cholesterol about 162. HDL reported as “real good” by mystery Doctor on the clinic phone. Aproximately 4% body fat from my goal, or 5 to 6 pounds. I don’t try to rely on pounds because of my mild body dysmorphia: Furhtermore, next week I will be retaining water, and my weight will read very oddly
Forgot to post on Friday.
As of today 166 1/2 (down from original of 174). 2 1/2 to go.
My computer has been on the blink all weekend but I did manage to weigh myself on Friday.
Friday - 202 lbs (down from 204).
I spent most of the long weekend working in the garden so hopefully I have gained some muscle, accounting for the minimal weight loss. Then again, I haven’t been trying at dieting as hard as I should…
At any rate, my belt is more accurate than my scale and I am now down one loop.
